Danny's Rock Tree

Tree-following (kinda).

I'm on the road, so instead of reporting on my followed trees, Flash and Spike, I introduce you to Danny's rock tree, next to an irrigation ditch in the Grand Valley (western Colorado). The rocks hang by thin steel cables. When the wind blows, they twirl—back and forth, back and forth.

As for my trees ... when I looked the day I left, Flash (maple) had plump buds with pink tips. Spike (hawthorn) hadn't changed.

More news from other tree-followers available here.

  1. Huh, interesting. I could see doing this in the right setting. I like the black-and-white photos.
